The Haynes Cemetery (also know as Thorne) is a small cemetery located in Little Caney Township, in the NE 1/4 of S6 - T35 - R13, coordinates are 37.033611N,-96.024722W. The cemetery can be found by driving through a private drive immediately on the west side of the intersection of Cowboy Road and County Road #29. The cemetery has no access without crossing a hay meadow and a dry creek and is no longer maintained or visited. The cemetery was too overgrown with brush and weeds to determine a pattern of grave sites, so none was attempted. It was read in April 1985 by Maxine Dick and read again and photographed in October 2006 by Don Tharp.

Many grave sites were not found and several of those we did find were no longer legible 
and without the prior information of the 1985 reading some would be impossible to decipher.
