Otter Creek Cemetery is hard to find. It is located in a pasture on a farm where currently R. C. Dye lives. It is located in S6 - T34 - R13 in Washington Township. To find it drive into Mr. Dye's farmstead, be courteous to him and ask permission, then go through his barn yard (close all gates as you go through) along a field and pasture and up a hill about a mile from his house. On your left you'll see the fenced in cemetery. Care of the graves and cemetery is not the best. There are about as many unidentified graves as there are identified ones. The earliest marked grave was 1870 and the last one in 1911. Read on 4 Dec 1984 by G. Herman Guy. When the compiler was there in the summer of 1984 the cemetery was grown up to sprouts and grass about waist high, but in December it was all cleaned up down to ground level.
