The Peru Cemetery is located in S20 - T34 - R12 of Belleville Township. It is easily reached on top of a hill about one mile southwest of the village of Peru. It is actively used and well cared for. C. Herman Guy read the stones in May 1984. The earliest stone is that of Adeline Curtis who died 6 Sep 1870.

several sandstone and marble markers — not legible today several metal markers as furnished by the funeral home but can’t read several clumps of flowers here and there as though covering a grave but no marker one new grave at south end but no marker of any kind not even a funeral home provided one.
