This listing is compiled from readings and photographs of grave markers made by Don and Lois Morgan in the months of June and July 2008. The cemetery has been in continuous use since the late 1860s so it is no surprise that many burials listed in previous readings and in the official records were not found.

The Grace Lawn Cemetery is located at the southwest edge of Howard, Kansas, section 11, township 30, range 10e and the coordinates are lat. 374583674N, lon. 96.2724961W.

The cemetery has been divided into 14 numerical blocks and the block locations are listed after the dates for each entry. All but a few of these locations, block numbers, are used as links to the photograph of the grave marker.

In addition to the military abbreviations, there are other abbreviations used in this compilation; b. - born, bu - buried, d/o - daughter of, f/o - father of, h/o - husband of, m. - married, m/o - mother of, s/o - son of, w/o - wife of, inf - infant, y m d - for age by year month and day, and ssw - same stone with.
